I am a freelance film and TV critic, journalist and broadcaster, from Doncaster and London, of mixed British and North African heritage.

I am a seasoned Q&A, premiere and red carpet host for Curzon, Disney, Searchlight, Netflix, MTV, BFI, BAFTA, Sky, Ciclope, and the European Film Awards as well as the co-host of the Fade To Black podcast.
I am also the co-founder of the First Film Club a cinema event series championing the debut films of established and emerging filmmakers.
I am a member of the London's Critics Circle -- Film and have served on the juries for the BFI Future Film Festival, London East Asian Film Festival, Cheltenham International Film Festival and the BIFA awards where I am also a member of the BIFA nomination committee.
