For over a decade, I have interviewed some of the biggest stars in the world, from actors Rebecca Ferguson, John Boyega, Ruth Negga and Emma Corrin to directors M. Night Shyamalan, Paul Thomas Anderson, Spike Lee and Ava DuVernay, and cultural icons such as Jewelle Gomez, Bethann Hardison and Peter Kennard.

I'm a semi-regular guest on BBC's The Arts Hour with Nikki Bedi, CBC's Commotion with Elamin Abdelmahmoud and Front Row on BBC Radio 4. I have hosted premieres, red carpets and in conversations for festivals, indie distributors and major studios.

In 2020, I was invited into the London Critics' Circle - Film and have served on the juries for the BFI Future Film Festival, London East Asian Film Festival, Cheltenham International Film Festival and the BIFA awards where I am also a member of the BIFA nomination committee.

In 2023, I co-founded the LFF Critics Support Fund, a pro-bono scheme set up to financially support low-income critics attending the BFI London Film Festival. It is now in its third year. â€‹

In 2024, I co-founded Cinema For Gaza, a passionate, inclusive fundraising space powered by the generosity of people from all corners of the film industry to raise vital funds for Medical Aid For Palestinians. In 2025, I served as a creative advisor on the cultural event Together For Palestine at Wembley OVO Arena.
