I am a freelance film and TV critic, journalist and broadcaster, from Doncaster and London, of mixed British and North African heritage.

As well as writing about and discussing the latest film and TV releases, I specialise in topics concerning representation and diversity in front of and behind the camera.

I am also the co-founder of The First First Club a cinema event series championing the debut films of established and emerging filmmakers.
